Several publishers will allow electronic access provided that a print subscription has been entered, without extra charge to the subscriber. Access may be via specific gateways or direct link with the source. We believe that the direct source link is the most cost efficient for the subscribing client. Where an organisation subscribes to one print subscription and wishes to make it electronically available to many desktop users within a geographical area a license fee may apply. We would negotiated this fee on behalf of the client. The subscription price and Terms and Conditions regarding online electronic subscriptions are set and controlled by the publishing source (copyright holder) and is subject to our usual service fee. Each publisher or copyright holder has unique conditions. Some require a license for multi desktop access such as Intranet, others agree that more than one reader may have access to a single subscription if the single organisation has one IP address. Some publishers have not finalised their procedures and / or price structure. Unless the the publisher's terms and conditions acknowledges the right to do so, it is implied that online access is specific to the single subscriber only. |
